The February Sweet Wine Selection – With a gold foil label featuring a woman with a full “up-doo” hairstyle, no one will accuse this wine of taking itself too seriously. A proprietary blend of Norton, Concord and Vidal Blanc, this wine features 6% residual sugar. The nose is intensely jammy filled with Concord notes. A juicy fruit forward attack leads to a midpalate filled with touches of strawberry. The most interesting finish lingers nicely with hints of raspberry and rhubarb. Serve cold with a bowl of vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert.
